The Orange Public Library is hosting its second Heritage Days celebration on Saturday, April 8 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This biannual event celebrates Orange’s rich history through activities to educate and entertain all ages. This year the event will focus on genealogy as well as notable women in the City’s history. Community members will enjoy artifact and photograph exhibits, an Orange Lionettes documentary screening, a heritage photo contest, a special book sale by the Friends of the Library, historical tours presented by the Orange Community Historical Society, and more! Adults may sign up for genealogy research assistance, and children can make a family tree craft and go on a historical scavenger hunt.

Please visit the Adult Reference Desk or call (714) 288-2410 to register for genealogy assistance or Orange Community Historical Society tour.

Oh, and did you know that the City of Orange’s 135th birthday is on April 6? Join us at Heritage Days to celebrate our Orange Roots!
