Teen volunteers play a very important part in our summer program. Working under the supervision of the library staff, teen volunteers may assist with children’s programs, hand out reading incentives, shelve books, and help with other duties as assigned.

City policy requires all volunteers to fill out an application, which will be available online beginning April 26. Volunteers 16 and older are required to be drug-tested and fingerprinted.

Teens must attend one orientation to volunteer for our summer program. This is one option and there are two others, each at varying days and times at each Library location.
