  • Introduction: 75 Years of OC Equal Rights: Mendez et al. v. Westminster et al.

Join us as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the 1947 upholding of the Mendez et al. v. Westminster et al. verdict, which ruled that the segregation of Mexican students into separate schools was unconstitutional.  This court case led to California becoming the first state to prohibit racial segregation in schools.
